Just hours after I released the Class Breakdown for this month, in which I noted a potential decommit was on the horizon, Ocean Springs (MS) OT Brandon Cunningham made the move and decommitted from Miami.

Not only that, Cunningham nearly immediately announced his flip/new commitment to Mississippi State.

As stated in his decommitment announcement, the 6’5” 270lb Cunningham desired to stay closer to home/family in college. And, by flipping to Mississippi State, he is going to be able to do just that.
For Miami, that drops the Canes down a bit in the recruiting rankings. Miami, now with 10 commitments and only 1 of them an offensive lineman, fell from 2nd to 4th in the 2019 class rankings. But, with many available scholarships, and plenty of time until players start signing, Miami will be able to add talent to this class and climb back towards #1.
There are options on the board, at OL and every position. For more on that, I direct you to the Class Breakdown, which I just wrote yesterday for further discussion on this point.
