Desperately needing to replenish the depth and talent at linebacker, getting Solomon in this class is huge for Miami.
A 4-star rated recruit, the 6’1” 190lb Solomon has a wealth of skill and athleticism. Yes, he will need to bulk up at the next level, but that additional weight should come in time.
A Michigan legacy who had taken multiple trips to Ann Arbor, Solomon was largely thought to be leaning toward the Wolverines. However, some ace recruiting by Defensive Coordinator and LB coach Manny Diaz eventually turned the tide and resulted in today’s commitment from Solomon.
With Solomon in the class, Miami now retakes the #1 class ranking for 2019. Solomon is the 3rd LB in this class (joining Jesiah Pierre and Samuel Brooks, and the 11th commit overall. Solomon committed to Miami over Michigan and a packed offer list of nearly 40 P5 schools.

Welcome to the U, Anthony!
