It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday, and that seems to be the theme for Miami Hurricanes fans. Monday evening, three-star prospect OL/DL Renato Brown tweeted that he will be decommiting from The University of Miami football program. The all-around lineman was in the U's radar for about a year but also had offers from programs like Louisville, Tennessee, and even Towson.

According to PalmBeachPost Brown still plans to make his final decision about the school he'll be playing for on National Signing Day, and still considers Miami as a possible choice. Unfortunately, it seems like his lack of commitment may be a sign that the Hurricanes community may see him on the other side of the field next season. The opportunity is not a guarantee.
The Hurricanes are in need of more defensive linemen for the near future, and though Renato Brown has had achievement at offensive lineman with 33 pancake blocks, he also shows both versatility and defensive potential with 42 total tackles on the other side of the ball. This is in only one year of playing, by the way. It’s a stunning L right now, but miracles have been made before.
