Currently unranked by the major recruiting services, Brownlee had a stellar spring, starring for the South Florida Express 7v7 team, which won the adidas 7v7 National Championship. From 247’s recap of the event: “...where meanwhile Jarvis Brownlee came out West and made a name for himself. The 6-foot, 170-pound cornerback had a clutch pass breakup to secure the perfect record and pool play and it was fitting he picked off a pass in the championship on Sunday to cap a very productive weekend.”
“A lot of our guys have the big offers and big rankings, I think Jarvis Brownlee is as good as any of those kids,” South Florida Express founder Brett Goetz said.
I think that’ll play.
Additionally, Brownlle is a stand out at Carol City, as well. The 6’0” 168lb Brownlee has good size, speed, and length, and is one of the better cover guys in this class. He may not be a household name — even after his stellar spring performance — but he’s got serious game.
SB Nation Recruiting Analyst Bud Elliott agrees (and dunked on a stupid FSU fan to make the point so double bonus there):

Brownlee is the 2nd CB in this class, joining ATH Damarius Good at that position. He is the 14th commitment overall for Miami’s class, which is comfortably in the top 10 at this juncture.
