A 6’4” 245lb standout from Christopher Columbus HS — the same school that has produced many Canes past and present, including CB Trajan Bandy — Roberts committed to Miami after attending today’s Mark Richt Football Camp.
While he is unranked by most of the major recruiting services at this time (247sports has Roberts as a 3-star), Roberts is a player with very good size, great athleticism, and good potential for the future. He is well-known for his play at Columbus, and will be one of their top players in this upcoming season.
Roberts received his Canes scholarship offer on March 31st, and has been visited by coaches several times since then. He has also visited campus multiple times, including today’s camp at which he committed.
A player with a fast-rising recruiting profile, Roberts committed to Miami over offers from North Carolina, Tennessee, and Syracuse. For a better look at Roberts as a player, chec out the HUDL highlights below.
