John Wall Makes An Appearance At The U

While Miami may be a home to some of the best athletes in college sports, such a reputation of success would bring several famous athletes and public figures there for a number of reasons. Some of these people may be training at the U, though they may have played for other athletic powerhouses in their college years (except FSU), and then you have people like Drake and Gucci Mane showing up out of nowhere. However, there’s one athlete that’s now viral because of a very “off” Team USA photo that was released Thursday.

If you still don’t know who we’re talking about, it’s John Wall. Earlier this week, the Washington Wizards point guard pulled up to the U to shoot a couple of hoops with Wizards coach David Adkins and NBA skills trainer Rob McClanaghan in the gymnasium. From the look of the photos, which were a couple of days ago, it look like he was still able to pull a couple of shots. Though these were hints of his new look, it seems like he is still able to compete at the level he normally does.

Now to be fair, Wall usually practices in Miami’s facilities whenever he’s in the city. However, you can’t really tell how grizzly he is based on the pictures being taken far away. Today marked the day that Wall would be a meme because of the USA Team photo, but his recent visit to the U’s practice facility shows he’s still out here preparing for this upcoming basketball season.
