-Only big surprise is the omission of 5-star freshman running back Lorenzo Lingard Jr. One has to imagine Lingard will see the field at some point, and the opening depth chart makes it hard to tell when that will happen.
-Brevin Jordan has been named the starting tight end after Michael Irvin II was lost to injury. We should see both talented freshman tight ends on the field during week 1 with Will Mallory listed as second string.
So excited and blessed to officially be named the starting TE against LSU. God has a plan & I’m just following his every path. See y’all in Dallas. 5 Days..... #TrueFreshmanU https://t.co/kGRKdLt5Ns

-It’s just silly, both teams can’t “be back” before playing a game this season. But otherwise, this promo does have me amped for Sunday.
-Get ready for plenty of the Turnover Chain once again this year.
