The Miami Hurricanes got a blowout victory against the Savannah State Tigers last weekend, but the most important part of the game may have been off the field. The Hurricanes had a very talented group of recruits in attendance at the game.

It was very important to get off on the right step after the recruiting dead period, and it seems like the Hurricanes coaching staff managed to do just that. Now they have to go and finish the job recruiting some of their top targets who just haven’t quite committed yet.
In other news, you can read a quick recap of the weekend that some of the Hurricanes targets and commits had last week here;

In other news, Miami was named in the Top 8 for University School (Fort Lauderdale, FL) RB Kenny McIntosh. It’d be a shock if the talented back committed to anywhere but Miami, but recruiting is never a linear process, so this will be a battle to the end.

Miami will look to continue to build some recruiting momentum as we continue towards signing day. Expect a lot of official visitors to begin to appear on campus in the coming weeks as recruiting begins to truly heat up before signing day.
Now that the recruiting dead period has ended, who do you think the first commit will be for the Hurricanes? Tell us in the comments below!
