The ACC released the conference schedules for the 2018-19 basketball season today (as shown in the tweet below)

Miami opens its conference slate with NC State at home on January 3rd. Other notable dates include the Canes traveling to Tallahassee on January 9th, then a tough 7-game stretch of UNC at home on January 19th, an away tie with Syracuse on January 24th, back-to -back home games with Florida State and Virginia Tech on the 27th and 30th, away at Virginia on February 2nd, Home versus Notre Dame on February 6th, and closing with a trip to Chapel Hill to take on UNC for the second time. The Canes will have a tough Saturday afternoon game at Duke on March 2nd (on CBS), and will close out their conference schedule on March 8th at Virginia tech.

Coach Jim Larranaga had this to say when asked about the conference schedule: “The ACC is the top basketball conference in the nation every year, and it will be extremely tough from top to bottom once again this season. It is a grind, with no easy games. We are excited for this challenge and the opportunities to play some of the best teams in the country every night. Our fans have sold out season tickets at the Watsco Center for each of the last three seasons, which has never been done here previously. They have created a tremendous home-court advantage and been a big part of our success. We are looking forward to that excitement once again this season.”

The Canes open their 2018-19 season on November 9th at home against Lehigh, before taking part in the Wooden Classic, the ACC-Big Ten Challenge against Rutgers, and the Miami Hoophall Invitational during the non-conference portion of their schedule.
