Good Sunday morning, Canes fam! Here are your News and Notes:
Canes beat Toledo Rockets 49-24, move to 2-1 on the year
Miami took the show on the road and played at another mid-major school. And, just like when Miami went to Appalachian State in 2016, Miami outclassed the home team on the way to a big victory.

- Miami’s offense came alive according to Dylan Sherry
In the course of the game, several players had standout performances.

It was closer than it should have been for a time, but all in all, a 25 point win on the road against a team that won their conference last year and could very well do so again this year is a good thing.

On to FIU
And now, after Saturday’s win, Miami returns home next week to face the other FBS team in Dade County: the FIU Panthers.
Coached by former UM head man Butch Davis, the Panthers look to beat the Canes for the first time.
The game, already announced to be a 3:30pm kickoff, has been picked up by ESPN2 for broadcast.

So, if you’re at home and not at Hard Rock Stadium next weekend, you’ll get to hear Andre Ware’s terrible commentary again. YAY FOR YOU!!!
We all know that the last time these teams met, there was a fight.
This year, we don’t need any of that. Just go out there, beat them to smithereens, and move on.
BUT IF FIU WANT THE SMOKE THEN THEY CAN GET THE SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FSU loses to Syracuse 30-7, falls to 1-2
Nole Cast blames Offensive Line.
Players talked about the embarrassing loss, too.
Just wanted to put that out there.
Have a great Sunday!
