The Miami Hurricanes have had a good last few weeks on and off the field, and they’re beginning to make a push for some commitments as we march towards the end of this recruiting cycle.

Commits coming? Where things stand at QB and with multiple OL targets + a new @247CrystalBall pick in favor of UM.https://t.co/pGp3yJxF6X pic.twitter.com/XIFtZgX8Bd
In other news, four-star Offensive Tackle commit Michael Tarquin’s senior season has ended early after he tore his labrum last weekend. Hopefully he can recover quickly not only for his future, but also because he’s a blue-chip prospect at a position of need for Miami.
Miami OL commit Michael Tarquin will have surgery Wednesday to repair a torn labrum. He plans to rehab then enroll early in January. https://t.co/UlnB2tyYvf pic.twitter.com/IhCv54VJtZ

Additionally, it seems as if Khris Bogle, one of the Hurricanes’ top targets at Defensive End, is nearing a decision date. A few weeks ago he tweeted that he was near “shutting his recruitment down” and even more recently he tweeted that big news was coming soon. Tennessee seems to be Miami’s biggest challenge here, but it seems as if things are trending towards Miami as we near a commitment date for the talented defender.
Almost time for me to shut my recruitment down.........

Lastly, Miami recruits had another big week in their games, with several targets and commitments impressing throughout last weekend.
It was a big – and quirky – Week 5 for Miami’s commits. DE Cam Williams played a full game, TE Larry Hodges threw a TD pass on a direct snap and DT Jason Blissett found the end zone on a 36-yard run. https://t.co/zUWAI7VFjD pic.twitter.com/mJ9fFT9861

That’s it for this week, but if Miami keeps winning on the field expect them to keep winning on the recruiting trail. The ‘Canes have an opportunity to add even more to an already impressive recruiting class.
