Miami Hurricanes vs Florida State Seminoles game time announced

Get your plans together for this rivalry week game at Hard Rock Stadium

NCAA Football: Savannah State at Miami Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Instead of being announced last Monday (12 days before game day, which is standard announcement timing for most games), Miami-FSU was placed on a 6-day hold, along with 2 other games.

And you might be wondering what other games could fit in those timeslots, so here:

After being placed on the aforementioned 6-day hold, the game time and television info for Saturday’s Miami-Florida State rivalry game has finally been announced.

As stated, Miami-Florida State will be nationally televised on either ABC or ESPN (TV assignment not yet announced). The afternoon kick will aid in the visibility of the game, which is one of the most tightly contested rivalries in college football.

UPDATE:

per Miami Hurricanes Director of Athletic Communications Camron Ghorbi, Miami-FSU will be aired on ABC.

All of this information that I’ve already shared was confirmed in this tweet from Canes Football.

Further announcements will be forthcoming regarding parking/tailgating/pre-game scheduling at Hard Rock Stadium, but based upon the past, lots USUALLY open 6 hours before kickoff. So that would be 10:30am, which makes for a long day at the stadium before you even make your way inside to watch the game.

But, this game could be at 2am and people would be there.

It’s Miami vs Florida State.

See y’all at the Rock on Saturday. Save me a beer!
