Good Morning Canes Familia,
The Search Continues for an Offensive Coordinator
With each passing day a new leader emerges in the process to find a new offensive coordinator for the Hurricanes. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported this yesterday.
Not sure where UM OC search ends - Diaz has made clear to his staff he doesn't want the information getting out - but he has turned over every stone, exploring Clemson's Scott, North Texas' Graham Harrell, Fedora, Applewhite and bunch of others.

Tate Martell Come on Down?
UM head coach Manny Diaz has been upfront that the Hurricanes will be welcoming competition everywhere on the roster. On Thursday, speculation turned to Ohio State QB Tate Martell, who has been placed in the transfer protocol. Martell’s departure from Columbus, Ohio is result of former Georgia QB Justin Fields electing to transfer to the Buckeyes. Jason Dill of the Miami Herald goes into detail on the links and possibility of Martell joining the Canes.

Malik Rosier Gets Tropical
The path to the 2019 NFL Draft is well underway with early declarations. On Sunday, one of the first All-Star showcases will kickoff in Daytona Beach, Florida at the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl. The annual showcase was founded in 2016 and held at FIU’s stadium in its inaugural year. QB Malik Rosier will attempt to convince scouts to kick the tires on his draft prospects at the game. The start time will be 10:00AM EDT and can be watched via tropicalbowl.com
ASA available in 2019?
Auburn transfer RB Asa Martin is set to enroll at UM this week. According to Matt Shodell of Canesport.com, Martin is attempting to gain a waiver for immediate eligibility. Martin insists that redshirting in 2018 was bungled by his previous coaching staff, insisting that he should not be punished for their mishandling of the situation. Martin played in five games last season, one more game than the allowed four to retain redshirt status.
Have a Great Day and Go Canes!
