Week 7 College Football Lines and Picks

Victory Saturday! Let’s relax, drink some ice cold ones, and get down...

NCAA Football: Virginia at Miami Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

It’s a victory Saturday in South Florida, so we can all sit back, relax with an ice cold one, and watch some football in a stress-free environment. Unless, y’know, you’re sweating action. After a 4-5-1 week, I’m sitting at 27-31-2 on the season. So…yeah, I’m sweating it a little bit. Although I’m tempted to start getting down on more teasers, as I’m 5-2-1 in the last 2 weeks on them.

Anyways, on with the Week 7 picks….

Lock of the week

FLORIDA (+13.5) at Louisiana State

I know Florida’s offense isn’t on the same level as LSU’s, but the Gator defense has been elite this season. That’s asking way too much of LSU to win by 2 TDs. I’ll take those points all day, Tiger Stadium or not.

Other lines I like

Mississippi State at TENNESSEE (+6)

Vols showed a spark last week with Brian Maurer stepping in as the new UT QB. I think it carries over for a second straight week.

MARYLAND (-3.5) at Purdue

This line probably should be close to double digits. Hawaii beat Nevada 54-3 in Reno. Good god, Purdue.

Penn State at IOWA (+3)

I think Iowa wins this game outright at Kinnick under the lights, so yeah, I’ll take 3 points, too.

Oklahoma vs. TEXAS (+10)

Throw out the records (although both have nice records, so no need) for this one, like every year. Dicker the Kicker nailed the winner the first game last year, although OU won the rematch by 12 in a game that felt much closer. I’ll take double digit points.

Teasers I like

BAMA (-10.5) at Texas A&M; UTAH (-8) at Oregon State

WASHINGTON (+1) at Arizona; Usc at NOTRE DAME (-4)

Rutgers at Indiana (OVER 42.5); Memphis at Temple (OVER 43)

BYU (+2.5) at South Florida; WASHINGTON STATE (+8) at Arizona State

Parlay of the week

You’d think I’d remember there’s usually an upset or two out there to screw these big favorite moneyline parlays up, but here I am again…… (around -110 payout)

Ga Tech at DUKE

OKLAHOMA vs. Texas

MICHIGAN at Illinois

South Carolina at GEORGIA

ALABAMA at Texas A&M

UTAH at Oregon State
