One of the best public school programs in Dade County will travel to Hollywood tonight to take on one of the best private school programs in Broward County in a game that has five future Hurricanes on the teams’ rosters.

Miami Central (7-2) wrapped up the District 6A-16 championship last week with a 41-6 victory over South Miami to ensure itself a first round home playoff game. The Rockets feature 2021 Hurricane commitments Laurence Seymore and Chamon Metayer.

Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna (6-2) features three Hurricane verbal commitments but only two are expected to be active tonight. 2021 running back Thad Franklin and 2021 kicker Andres Borregales are both verbally committed to the Hurricanes while 2020 verbal commitment Willie Moise is injured likely won’t play against the Rockets tonight for the Lions.

A win would help Chaminade-Madonna earn a first-round bye in the Class 3A-Region 4 playoffs.
