Happy Homecoming AND Senior Day, Canes! After beating Pittsburgh and Florida State on the road over the last fortnight, the Canes return to the cozy confines of Hard Rock Stadium for the final home game of the year. Manny Diaz’s group looks to keep building the momentum, gain bowl eligibility, and keep their small (but still possible) chance to win the ACC Coastal alive.
Coming down this week are the new-look Louisville Cardinals. Under the direction of new coach Scott Satterfield, the former longtime Appalachian State head man, Louisville looks competent and interested in playing football this year, 2 things that could not be said about last year’s team under then-coach Bobby Petrino. And, riding a 3-game winning streak in this matchup, the Cards look to take another big step forward for their program development and stick another thorn in the side of the Canes.
