On Friday evening, junior running back Deejay Dallas announced that he’d be declaring early for the NFL Draft, and foregoing his senior season.

One of the more beloved Hurricanes to come through UM in recent memory, Dallas was a fan favorite. In three seasons at Miami, Dallas rushed for 1,528 yards and rushed for 17 touchdowns. In 2019, Dallas rushed for a career-high 694 yards, and scoring 10 total touchdowns. A versatile player, Deejay also showed his skills in the passing and punt return game.

Dallas is the fourth junior from Miami to declare early for the Draft, alongside Jeff Thomas, Jonathan Garvin and Trajan Bandy. Bandy announced earlier on Friday.

Best of luck to Dallas!
