No surprise here for Greg Rousseau

Even through a struggling 6-6 regular season, there were several players for the Miami Hurricanes who shined bright enough to have their presence felt. One of them was defensive end Gregory Rousseau, who was awarded the ACC Defensive Rookie Of The Year.

The redshirt freshman exploded onto the scene for the Canes in 2019, as he led the ACC with 14 sacks, which was second in the nation behind Chase Young of Ohio State.

The highlight game from Rousseau this season came in early November, when the phenom recorded four sacks against the Florida State Seminoles in Miami’s 27-10 victory.

He also tallied 18.0 TFLs, which is 10th in the nation. Rousseau will be a force on Miami’s defense for the next couple years.

Congrats Greg!
