A long and lean DB at 6’2” 175lbs, Branch is listed by recruiting sites as a CB. But Branch may profile better as a Safety in the eyes of some, so his final position is yet to be known.
Miami and Branch had a kind of whirlwind connection in this recruitment. After being interested in Miami for a time, Branch only earned his scholarship offer on an unofficial visit to Coral Gables on March 1st. Cut to less than 3 weeks later, and the Louisiana native is now committed to The U.
Branch is the 10th commitment overall and 3rd DB in Miami’s 3rd ranked 2020 recruiting class. He joins ATH Ladarius Tennison and CB Jaiden Francois in the secondary in this class.
