“The quarterback questions flowed, as expected, during spring practice No. 4 Tuesday at the University of Miami. How is Tate Martell doing? What about N’Kosi Perry and Jarren Williams? Each was asked in a variety of ways. But the one that got the most attention was when coach Manny Diaz was asked, “When would you like to name a starting quarterback? Some people do it after the spring. Some people wait till a week before the first game. What’s your philosophy on that?”
Why one big part of UM’s expected offensive plan already has been scrapped - Miami Herald
“When Butler’s Tommy Kennedy chose Miami over offers from Texas and Oklahoma earlier this offseason, the expectation was that he would replace graduating Tyree St. Louis as the Hurricanes’ starting left tackle.
After all, Kennedy said he hoped his one year starting at a major program would help prepare him for the NFL. That’s looking increasingly unlikely to happen.”
Spring Practice #4 — Slight change in the quarterback rotation - State of the U
“The second week of spring practice is under way and it seems like offensive coordinator Dan Enos has made a change in the quarterback rotation. When the offense lined up and went through air-routes together, it looked like Jarren Williams was leading the rotation, followed by N’Kosi Perry, then Tate Martell.”
Miami Hurricanes Pro Day 2019 - State of the U
“The Miami Hurricanes hosted their annual “Pro Day” for their graduating seniors and juniors, such as DE Joe Jackson, that chose to forego their last year of eligibility to enter the NFL Draft.
Participants expected to be drafted included Jaquan Johnson, Sheldrick Redwine, Gerald Willis III, Travis Homer, Michael Jackson Sr., and Joe Jackson.
QB Malik Rosier, DB Jhavonte Dean, WR Darrell Langham, RB/FB Trayone “Choc” Gray, LB Mike Smith, OL Tyree St. Louis, OL Tyler Gauthier, DT Tito Odenigbo, and OL Venzell Boulware were among others participating in drills for a plethora of NFL scouts in attendance.”
