Manny Diaz threw out the first pitch for the start of the FSU series and, well, did it in the only way #TNM could. Before Diaz’s pitch could make it over the plate, it was “intercepted” by Linebacker Michael Pinckney. Pinckney was bum rushed by fellow Senior LBs Shaq Quarterman and Zach McCloud, who promptly bestowed the turnover chain upon him. First (of many) turnover chain of 2019!
Thanks for rockin’ my #94 @LouHedleyy.

Look forward to that workout one day. In the meantime, welcome to the U, keep disrupting and always be the hardest worker in the (MF’n) room. #TheU #94 https://t.co/X1Ky1X4eFU
Miami’s newest punter, Louis Hedley, shouted out The Rock as the inspiration behind Headley’s decision to wear jersey #94. It’s safe to say that Dwayne Johnson appreciated the love.

Graduating senior, do-it-all forward Anthony Lawrence III is taking his talents to the 3-on-3 National Championship this weekend, repping the ACC. Hopefully some post-season play can help AL3 find a home in the NBA.
The Miami Herald is reporting on Miami baseball’s huge win over FSU, as well as new O-line coach Butch Barry’s “NFL mentality.”
Over at the Sun Sentinel, they’re breaking down the many roles that Coach Manny Diaz is now filling. He’s not just the head coach for the football program; he’s also become an ambassador and motivational speaker for Miami.
And that’s all for today Canes fans, remember...
