With the 2018-19 athletic year winding down for the University of Miami, I figured this was a good time to check in with you, the SOTU readership, to get a lay of the land.
After struggling through a 7-6 football season, and an abysmal 14-18 men’s hoops season, and a promising 25-9 women’s hoops season that ended with an early loss in the NCAA tournament, and a football coaching change, and a resurgent (though not perfect) baseball season, an plenty more, I’m sure we’re all a bit haggard from the ups and downs of our emotions from sports.
But, aside from that, the contributing crew that I’ve assembled in my time here as Managing Editor has striven to give you great commentary and analysis on a daily basis. I’m proud of what we’ve done, but my pride doesn’t tell me how the content was received.
So I ask you, SOTU reader, this simple question:
How are we doing?
And, along those lines, what did you like that we did this year, and what would you like to see in the months to come?
Yeah, this is a bit of crowdsourcing, but more to just get a feel for what you as readers value or enjoy. We still have plans for plenty of content this summer and beyond, but knowing what you may enjoy could help us as we move forward. No, this won’t be full scale fan service (like some element of Game of Thrones have been this season BUT I DIGRESS), but we want to know what you think of what we’ve brought you.
So drop us a comment, fill out this short Google Form, and let us know how we’re doing so we can continue to be great and do even better in the future.
Thanks for reading!
