On Wednesday afternoon, the ACC announced the schedule for games on the forthcoming ACC Network for the first 3 weeks of the season.
Miami’s opening game — the August 24th showdown against the rival Florida Gators — has already been announced as an 7pm kickoff on ABC. This game, which will be played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, will be nationally televised, and is another marquee non-conference game for the Canes.
After a Week 1 bye week — the Miami/Florida game is technically week 0 and will be the first game of the CFB season — Miami heads to Chapel Hill, NC to face Mack Brown’s Tar Heels on September 7th. This game will kickoff at 8pm and be televised on the ACC Network.
A week later, Miami will have their first home game of the year. The Canes will go to the friendly confines of Hard Rock Stadium to face Bethune Cookman University. This game will kickoff at 4pm and will also be televised on the ACC Network.
Miami’s late-season matchup against crosstown school FIU had previously been announced as a 7pm kickoff on November 23rd. Other game times will be announced throughout the season.
