Miami Hurricanes News & Notes: Schedule release, 100 greatest plays, etc

ACC Network kick off has Miami dates early on

NCAA Football: Virginia Tech at Miami Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Not a ton going on except the NCAA and Kirk Herbstreit moving us one step closer to having an NCAA Football game from EA Sports on this gen of consoles... soon?

Some ‘Canes are getting into it in pro camps while the baseball team rolls into a possible hosting bid for the regionals.

Let’s hope where men’s basketball and football failed us that the baseball team can be like the women’s basketball team and make us all very proud.

Local Rags

Christy Cabrera Chirinos put her piece out about the schedule information called, “Miami Hurricanes announce start times, TV info for two of first three football games.” The ‘Canes will face the UNC Tar Heels on the ACC Network on September 7th at 8pm.

Matt Murschel, also of the Sun Sentinel, went all in with his piece called, “Miami coach Manny Diaz: Hurricanes must develop backbone this offseason.” Covering some tough questions for Coach Diaz about his debut against the Gators and more.

The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson covered why many ‘Canes fans might not see two of Miami’s opening three contests with.

SOTU

Our Cam Underwood covered the schedule updates, too. Miami Hurricanes Game Times announced for North Carolina, Bethune Cookman games. Of course read ours twice before the local rag’s.

Our Marshthomas also put out a piece called, “100 Greatest Plays In Miami History: #100-Braxton Berrios ‘Convict’ Touchdown vs Notre Dame.” Spoiler: Braxton Berrios, WHO I SAID WOULD HAVE A GREAT SENIOR SEASON, kicks off the series.
