In what might go down as the worst loss in a long season of baseball, the Canes got trounced by an unranked Duke squad, 12-3. Miami can still win the series but after some inexplicable losses the past two weeks, things might be tougher in the postseason.

Despite having not played this past season, Dewan Hernandez is fighting to make himself standout for the upcoming NBA Draft. Hernandez put on a good show on the first day of the NBA combine. We’ve got some highlights below!

FootballOutsiders.com had Miami ranked 75th in the nation when it came to efficiency on special teams. Suffice it to say, the Canes’ need to improve there in 2019.

The Sun Sentinel breaks down Miami’s latest addition to the 2021 class; 3-star DT Anthony Hundley. He is a teammate of fellow UM commit and five-star defensive end Donell Harris. Hundley is the 9th commit in Miami’s no. 1 ranked 2021 class.

In addition to proving he belongs in the big leagues at the combine, Dewan Hernandez talked about how tough it was to watch the Canes struggle through a tumultuous 2018-19 season.
