Today is a special day! With Summer A session classes starting at the University of Miami tomorrow, today is the day when students can move into their dorms.

And this is big because a wave of new Miami Hurricanes Football Players are beginning their journey in Coral Gables, looking to integrate themselves to the team, learn the playbook, hit the weight room, and start building their case for playing time in 2019.

Already on campus are several new players who enrolled in January. Freshmen Jahfari Harvey, Zion Nelson, and Jeremiah Payton have already made their way to Coral Gables. So too have transfers Tate Martell, KJ Osborn, Tommy Kennedy and Asa Martin.

Among the players who are joining the Canes this week are LB Samuel Brooks, LB Avery Huff, transfer S Bubba Bolden, JUCO P Louis Hedley, QB Peyton Matocha and many more.

Here are the Recruiting Notebooks on all the 2019 signees, most of whom are coming to campus right now. We’ll circle back and look at who didn’t make it for Summer A, if applicable.

QB Peyton Matocha

TE Larry Hodges

OL Jakai Clark

OL Adam ElGammal

DE Cameron Williams

DT Jason Blissett

DT Jared Harrison-Hunte

DT Jalar Holley

LB Samuel Brooks

LB Avery Huff

CB Christian Williams

CB Te’Cory Couch

S Keontra Smith

JUCO P Louis Hedley

In addition to those names, Miami will be adding the following transfers this summer as well:

  • Former USC S Bubba Bolden
  • Former UCLA DT Chigozie Nnoruka
  • Former UCLA DE Jaelan Phillips (will sit out per NCAA transfer rules in 2019)
  • Former VT DE Trevon Hill

Several transfers enrolled at Miami ni January and participated in Spring Practice. Those players are QB Tate Martell, RB Asa Martin (who will sit out in 2019), WR K.J. Osborn, and OL Tommy Kennedy.

With the majority (if not entirety) of Miami’s 2019 recruiting class and transfers coming to campus, now the focus turns to working together, developing, and preparing to win ggames in the Fall.

Welcome to the U, gentlemen!
