Good morning and happy Saturday Canes fam! Here’s to a smooth and relaxing weekend filled with Miami baseball and plenty of op-eds with “Manny Diaz” in their titles. As always, we have everything you need to know to stay up to date with all things Miami.

Another game, another win for Miami baseball. The Canes stretch their win streak to five after a dominant 9-3 victory over Bethune Cookman. These are the games that Miami absolutely need to win and, with game 2 of the series tonight at 7pm, the Canes can continue to rise in the polls with more wins like this one.

After a big win in the first round, Miami women’s tennis is advancing to the second round of the NCAA Championship for the 18th straight year. Go Lady Canes!

Speaking of, Bruce Brown had one of the most successful rookie seasons for any player taken in the 2nd round of last year’s draft. The Piston’s have got a good one on their hands.

At the Miami Herald, they have a great article about what Miami’s new hall of famers, Antrel Rolle and Vince Wilfork, think about Manny Diaz and why they warn that a return to greatness needs more than just one guy. The Herald also discusses why that one guy continues to win the offseason.
