Mckenzie is the third linebacker to join Miami’s 2021 recruiting class, along with South Dade (FL) Tyler Johnson and North Miami (FL) Chamon Metayer.
In just five games as a sophomore, Mckenzie racked up 45 tackles and six sacks. His season was ended early due to a concussion. Mckenzie is unranked by the recruiting services at the time.
As an outside linebacker, McKenzie comes in at 6-0, 195-pounds, and also held offers from USF and Western Michigan. He was offered by Miami back in mid May.
