In late November of the 1992 season, the Hurricanes to upstate New York to take on the #8 Orangemen of Syracuse in front of a record and rowdy crowd at the Carrier Dome.
With players like Warren Sapp and Micheal Barrow, it was a defensive struggle throughout, and the Canes held a 16-10 lead late in the fourth quarter. Down but not out, Cuse QB Marvin Graves drove his team all the way down to the Miami 22-yard line with six seconds to go.
Thanks to Casey Greer making a tackle on tight end Chris Gedney, Miami was able to escape New York with a win.
