The Miami Hurricanes added to their 2020 recruiting class earlier today when Charlotte (NC) Mallard Creek 3-star DE Quentin Williams committed to The U.

A well-built 6’3” 234lbs, Williams has the size and length that teams want on the edge of the defensive line. Williams clocked an impressive 4.8 in the 40 yard dash at The Opening regional earlier this summer, and displays that athleticism on the field.
Williams picked Miami over West Virginia and North Carolina and 12 other scholarship offers from around the country. He is the 19th overall commitment for Miami’s 2020 recruiting class and the 3rd defensive end, joining 4-stars Samuel Anaele and Elijah Roberts at that position — though it should be noted that Roberts could move inside at the college level.
