Vince Wilfork was without a doubt one of the most disruptive forces in Hurricanes history, as he held down the defensive tackle position from 2001 to 2003.
His last year at Miami, 2003, was a special season for several reasons. One, because the Canes went 11-2, and second because UM was able defeat the Seminoles twice in one year. The first meeting came in Tallahassee in a 22-14 victory, and then the second occurred in the Orange Bowl.
In that 16-14 Orange Bowl win, Wilfork delivered a crushing hit that lives on to this day.

After seeing this hit over and over again, it’s honestly a surprise I didn’t rank it higher on this list. I’m sure Leon Washington is still feeling that.
