Welcome to the weekend boys and girls - we’ve got some Miami news for all of ya’ll. And this Saturday, we have a new Cane to introduce you to. So without further ado, let’s dive in!

Welcome to the U Ousman Traore! A JUCO transfer from Hutchinson (KS) Community College, the 6’4,” 337 pound offensive lineman can play this season and has three years of eligibility. Traore will provide some much-needed depth along the o-line and, with some seasoning, could compete for a starting job down the road.

June, Shmune; it’s never too early to take a look at Miami’s highly-anticipated first matchup of the season. And in this breakdown, Justin Dottavio looks at what Miami can expect from the Florida Gator’s defense.

An awesome start to a new series by Carl Bleich which details each and every 5-star Hurricane recruit of the last 20 classes. We’re starting with some familiar, and not so familiar, names in part one.

Our 100 greatest Miami plays in 100 days continues with play no. 77; against the Florida Gators coincidentally enough. Relive Maurice Sikes’ instinctive interception and the ensuing 99 yard return to the endzone that put an exclamation point on an eventual 41-16 beatdown.

There were a lot (A LOT) of classic games held at the Orange Bowl. Here are Marsh Thomas’ top ten Miami Hurricane games held at the OB.

N’Kosi Perry got a visit from greatness yesterday! It’s not just a Canes thing, #ItsAMiamiThing.

A very special guest paid a visit to the Miami weight room Friday. Safe to say the young guy’s in there could look up to him, both literally and figuratively.

Anthony Lawrence worked out for the Detroit Pistons on Thursday. The Pistons own both their first and second round picks this year; could Bruce Brown be getting a familiar teammate?

The Sun Sentinel has a great interview with Miami commit, and Al Blades Jr.’s cousin, 3-star CB Justin Hodges. In it, they touch on the pressure of a family legacy, who he’d compare his play style to, and his favorite Cane of all time.

The Sentinel also looked at the addition of Ousman Traore to the roster, as well as 2021‘s top-ranked kicker, and newest Miami commit, Andres Borregales.
