After an opening week loss to FSU to start off the 2005 season, the Hurricanes schedule didn’t get any easier, as #13 Miami traveled to Clemson, to take on the 20th-ranked Tigers.
The game was a classic, as regulation, as well as two overtimes wasn’t enough for the two teams.
In the third-overtime, Miami QB Kyle Wright and the offense took the field once again.
Tyrone Moss’ 25-yard dash to the end zone put the Hurricanes in front, and a Kenny Phillips interception sealed the Miami victory, 36-30.
GO CANES!
