We’re so close to football folks - you can practically smell it in the air. In a few hours, the Hurricanes will take the field to scrimmage. And sometime afterward? We expect a starting QB announcement will be made. But before we get that big news dropped on us, here’s a little something to hold you over.

More film room for ya’ll, this week it’s a way-too-early look at the Louisville Cardinals. The Cardinals were, uh, not very good last year and it’s not clear how much better they will be this year. What should the Canes expect from a potential trap game?

And if you wanted to hear from CMD himself on what he thinks of his three QBs gunning for that starting job, here you go.
The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson is breaking down where the QB race stands as of now. And as you might expect, it seems like much of the same that we have been hearing - each guy has pros and cons and no one is really separating themselves. That should change after today’s scrimmage. The Herald also talked about some of the freshmen who hit the ground running and are making a big splash in camp, along with other notes from practice.
Over at the Sun Sentinel, they’re also looking at the QB battle, and trying to parse through CMD’s words to see if anything can be gleamed from them.
That’s all for now Canes fans, remember...
