It was October 3rd in 1987, and the #3 Miami Hurricanes were in Tallahassee, taking on the #3 Florida State Seminoles. Both rosters were filled with future NFL talent, most notably Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders.

In front of a then record crowd of more than 63,000 the Noles took a 19-3 lead into the third quarter. Though, the Canes fought back, tying the game at 19 with three minutes to go.

Quarterback Steve Walsh hit Irvin who took it to the house, and the extra point game Miami the 26-19 lead, and would eventually win 26-25.
