Miami Hurricanes Cornerback Nigel Bethel To Enter Transfer Portal

The second Miami Hurricane this week has decided to enter his name into the transfer portal. Cornerback redshirt freshman Nigel Bethel announced today that he’d be seeking another opportunity.

Bethel saw action in only one game in 2018, but was expected to play a role for the Hurricanes this season, especially on special teams after flashing signs in spring practice as a return man.

Bethel is a native of Miami, and attended Northwestern High School.

Nigel’s decisions come three days after Derrick Smith also announced his intent to transfer.
