BREAKING: Miami Hurricanes debut touchdown “rings”

The Hurricanes staff gift to the offense has arrived

The Offensive pride prop: TD Rings
Tim Brogdon, Miami Athletics

Whispers of an offensive touchdown prop have been lingering for a long time now and they are finally here.

A pair of rings will be given out if the quarterback throws a pass to a receiver, so that both have something to show off to the cameras.

And there’s no better time to do that than tonight when the Canes take on the Florida Gators in the first and only college football game on with the entire nation watching.

I first heard that the rings were going to be the prop weeks ago and tonight they were unveiled for the world to see when Jarren Williams hit Brevin Jordan for a 25 yard TD late in the 2nd quarter. That TD gave Miami a 13-7 lead.

Under Dan Enos, the Hurricanes new touchdown rings should be coming out often, so we hope you enjoy the prop as much as the offense does.

And if it motivates the offense as much as the turnover chain did in 2017, then there is a lot to be excited about moving forward.

More on the rings soon.
