Miami Northwestern, featuring four Miami Hurricane verbal commitments, topped rival Miami Carol City 10-0 at Traz Powell Stadium in Miami last night.
The Bulls defense—which features 2021 cornerback commitment Tim Burns—held the Chiefs scoreless until the game was called with 6:18 to go because of severe weather in the area.
According to the Miami Herald, 2020 wide receiver commit Marcus Fleming caught a 71-yard pass in the game that helped set up the fourth quarter field goal that allowed Northwestern to put Carol City away for good.
The game was originally supposed to be played on Saturday night but was moved up 48 hours because of the threat of Hurricane Dorian.
