Canes Camp Report — Day 13

There won’t be questions about the 2019 Hurricanes’ conditioning

Andrew Ivins, 247Sports

We didn't see the quarterbacks throw, receivers catch, or any offensive vs. defense work this morning. What we saw was a conditioning session that is built for premier athletes to grind through — one certainly not built for everybody.

“Your way sucks, our way wins” Manny Diaz preached to his team early on in practice today.

The coaches way is up-downs in the 90 degree heat, making the team re-do drills they didn't feel were up to the Miami standard, and accountability from the leaders of their team.

David Feeley said something to his “line leaders” that can be summarized as, “if you aren’t fit to lead, get out of the front of the line.”

The players leading lines this Friday were: P Jack Spicer, S Amari Carter, QB Tate Martell, CB Trajan Bandy, WR KJ Osborn, RB Deejay Dallas, LB Shaq Quarterman, TE Will Mallory, DT Pat Bethel, C Corey Gaynor, T John Campbell, and DE Scott Patchan.

Miami’s last two transfers have arrived at Miami. Bubba Bolden, who was a full participant in practice today, and Jaelan Phillips, who was spotted in a white Miami long sleeve and shorts today on Greentree.

That’s all from today’s practice session. More later.
