Happy Saturday Canes familia! It’s Saturday, it’s gameday and it’s the last chance Miami gets to tune-up it’s roster before they begin ACC play. But the Canes can’t look ahead to their meeting with Virginia Tech in two weeks - they need to take care of business against Central Michigan first. CMU is 2-1 but if we’re being real, Miami needs to blow the doors off of Hard Rock today. CMU’s one loss was a 61-0 rout at the hands of Wisconsin; Miami needs to do something like that today.

But before cleat meets pigskin, we’ve got all the news and notes you need to stay updated on your Miami Hurricanes.

Miami loses another depth player to the transfer portal, this time talented redshirt freshman guard Cleveland Reed. This one will definitely sting in terms of depth. We wish Cleveland best of luck in his career going forward.

Some intriguing matchups in non-conference ACC play this week; UCF-Pitt, App State-UNC, Old Dominion-UVA. Here’s your Week 4 rooting guide for everyone in the ACC.

You better believe the crowd will be HYPE for Miami’s second contest in it’s 5-game home stand.

Calais Campbell only put up 7 tackles, 3 sacks, 4 TFLs and 5 QB hits on Thursday night. Just another ProCane who could end up in Canton when he hangs it up.

Of course, the big news for the Miami papers has been Cleveland Reed announcing he’ll enter the transfer portal. The redshirt freshman joined Miami in 2018 as a 4-star offensive guard. Here’s what the Miami Herald and the Sun Sentinel has to say about his sudden departure.

And that’s all for today Canes’ fans, remember...

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE U!
