Williams helped lead Miami to a 17-12 victory over Central Michigan on Saturday. The redshirt freshman from Lawrenceville, GA went 17/24 passing for 250 yards and a TD. Williams extended his streak of not throwing an interception, and in doing so became the first Canes signal caller to avoid throwing a pick in his first 100 career passing attempts.
Williams and the Canes are on a bye this week before digging into the heart of their ACC schedule, beginning with a home game against Virginia Tech on October 5th.
Congratulations again, Jarren. Keep it going!
