Balom is ranked as the 84th safety in the 2020 class. Landing an offer from his hometown Hurricanes back in June, Balom made an impression at Miami’s annual Paradise Camp, and people started to take notice.

Balom also had offers from schools like Penn State, Utah, West Virginia, among others. Standing at 6-0 and weighing 179 pounds, Balom posted a 4.6 40-yard dash back in February at The Opening Miami. Five games into the 2019 season, Balom has two interceptions, and can also deliver damage when it comes to tackling.
