I’m not sure if anyone else is listening to Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” right now and thinking about when Miami was dominant at both baseball and football, and hell- not too shabby at the college hoops thing either. Now the fans can only rely on the female hoops team and the occasional diver.
The ‘Canes are in a horrible place, they’re stuck with a lazy athletic director that makes extremely lazy hires. He hires what he knows, which is only “Miami guys,” but doesn’t have clear succession plan or outside talent pool. Expect more of the same from baseball, basketball, and football for the foreseeable future.
