This weekend produced several upsets in the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll. The Missouri Tigers had an impressive goal line stand to defeat LSU, Texas A&M shocked the Florida Gators, and Spencer Rattler won a 3 OT battle against Sam Ehlinger’s Texas Longhorns. If the refs had any sense, Feleipe Franks and the Arkansas Razorbacks would’ve added another upset to the list. Their questionable loss to the Auburn Tigers will be talked about all week. One team that didn't knock out a giant this week was the Miami Hurricanes. They were decimated by the No.1 Clemson Tigers, 42-17, in primetime TV last night.

We are two weeks away from the Big Ten’s entrance into gameplay. Team will have to do their best to stack wins before several other top 25 teams start their seasons.

Analysis

NCAA Football: Miami at Clemson Ken Ruinard-USA TODAY Sports

The ACC and SEC lead the way with 3 teams in the top 10 of both polls. The Florida Gators’ loss to Texas A&M wasn’t destructive. The team still maintains its top 10 seeding. The result of that game launched Texas A&M 11 spots in the Coaches Poll. Last years champs, LSU, find themselves on the outside looking in on both polls. The UCF Knights also join the Tigers in being ousted out of the polls.

The Coaches poll newcomers are Kansas State and USC. The Canes did not fall far from the top 10. The no.12 Canes will look to climb back up the polls when they take on the Pittsburgh Panthers (3-2) next week at home.
