One of the good things about winning going into a bye week is that feeing of satisfaction that carries on for a full week before you mentally get back into game week mode. A chance to kick your feet up and think about what’s ahead, circle back and catch up on how we’re doing with recruiting, etc. As such, we here at State of the U did what we do: bring you thoughts on a little bit of everything Canes related. From recruiting to wagering to analysis to long-term projections, we have it covered. Here’s what you might have missed:

Marsh answered questions from his mailbag, hitting on recruiting and a season projection, among many other things.

Marsh also talked about where Miami stands with 2021 Miami Central RB Amari Daniels.

Marsh also hit on the play of the defensive line in two separate pieces.

Dylan Sherry noted Miami’s struggles with Clemson and the stage that has been set for one D’Eriq King.

Justin Dottavio focused on the concerning trend of drops among Miami’s receivers.

I gave 5 college football lines that I like this week (went 5-0 last week, which was a nice bounce back from week 1).

Also, outside SOTU, the Herald’s Barry Jackson answered some questions regarding possible ties for the ACC championship game. Answer? It’s complicated.

The Sun Sentinel lauds the freshman class’s commitment to the program through a grueling 2019 season.
