Dade County public high school football has finally begun and one of the 305’s biggest rivalries will be renewed tonight.
Miami-Northwestern will take on Miami-Central tonight at 7:30pm at Traz Powell Stadium in Miami.
Northwestern features four Hurricane commitments in 2021 wide receiver Romello Brinson, 2021 cornerback Tim Burns Jr., 2021 tight end Kahlil Brantley, and 2021 safety Kamren Kinchens. Central features two Hurricane commits in 2021 offensive lineman Laurence Seymore and his younger brother 2023 wide receiver Lamar Seymore.
Miami Northwestern is ranked No.2 regardless of classification in Florida while Miami Central is ranked No.3. The Bulls are the top ranked team in Class 5A while the Rockets are the No.1 team in Class 6A.
