When adidas signed the University of Miami to an athletic apparel sponsorship deal, the general consensus was that the apparel brand would be positioning The U at the forefront of their jersey and shoe technology, as well as new and exciting designs.
This continued on Sunday night when Miami unveiled the newest version of the fan-favorite all-black “Miami Nights” alternate uniforms. You can see them in all their glory in the release video — narrated by former Canes RB DeeJay Dallas — embedded below:

Miami Nights 2.0 has an updated design on the shoulders of the jersey with solid orange fading into gradient orange and green approaching the collar. Additionally, the numbers have the same woven design as the 2019 Parley Jerseys, but are stitched in solid orange for a colorful burst of Miami style that cannot be missed.
Also, as seen in the gallery above, adidas has made matching Miami Nights cleats to accompany these new jerseys. Black with bold orange. Oh yeah. They’re nice.
The date when these jerseys will be debuted has not been announced at the time of release. We will update this piece when that information is known.
Retail versions of jerseys, including the special additional designs like the Parley jersey, have routinely been available at multiple retail outlets. The Miami Nights 2.0 Jerseys go on sale tomorrow, so get your orders in quick!
Once again, adidas has lived up to their word by putting the University of Miami at the forefront of their jersey and cleat technology and cutting edge design. But that’s what you do when you have brands as strong as adidas and The U teaming up together. Power moves only.
Love the new Miami Nights alternates? Hate them? What about the cleats? Hop in the comments and talk about the jerseys, you guys!
