Miami Hurricanes 2021 tight end verbal commitment Elijah Arroyo had a monster game last Friday night for Frisco (Tx.) Independence High.

Despite his team losing 42-35 to Rider (Tx.), Arroyo caught three touchdown passes from quarterback Braylon Braxton and finished with 112 yards receiving.

Arroyo caught touchdown passes of eight, ten and 61 yards (see below) in his team’s second game of the season.

The future Hurricane tight end has four touchdown catches already in 2020.

2021 five-star recruit James Williams and Plantation-American Heritage defeated previously unbeaten Jacksonville-Bartram Trail 35-10 last Friday night. The Patriots are now 3-0 on the season.

Williams made six tackles in the victory.

2021 striker commitment Chase Smith and Melbourne High lost 40-0 last Friday to Rockledge High but Smith was credited with two sacks and a forced fumble according to 247sports.com.

Fort Myers-Bishop Verot fell to 2-3 on the season with a 24-17 loss to Sebring High last Friday. 2021 verbal commitment Malik Curtis scored on a two-point conversion run for Verot but had minimal impact on the game otherwise.

Tampa-Carrollwood Day topped rival Spring Hill-Bishop McClaughlin 44-13 last Friday. 2022 defensive line commitment Brandon Cleveland’s statistics were not yet available from the game.

Many Hurricane verbal commitments were either on a bye week or have not yet started their 2020 seasons because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
