The Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball matchup versus the Stetson Hatters in Coral Gables, Fla., has officially been postponed as of Wednesday afternoon, according to the team.

The teams were scheduled to square off on Nov. 25, the opening day of the 2020-2021 NCAA basketball season, at the Watsco Center. The game was postponed, however, due to a positive coronavirus test within the Stetson basketball program.

While it remains uncertain as to when the matchup will be played, both schools remain in contact regarding a rescheduled date and time. The Hatters remain one of five non-conference opponents that the Hurricanes have on their schedule this season.

Miami’s opening game will now come on Nov. 29 against the North Florida Ospreys at home.
