ACC Power Rankings: Week 12

The ACC has dealt with a bunch of postponements and controversy over the last 2 weekends of college football. North Carolina may be all that stands between an Irish/Tigers ACC title game rematch.

Here are the week 12 Power Rankings.

1. Notre Dame (8-0) – Notre Dame enjoyed a bye, and now has its toughest test remaining with a road trip to Chapel Hill. Next Game Friday 3:30 PM @ North Carolina

2. Clemson (7-1) – Lots of controversy with the postponement of this past weekend’s game against FSU. Dabo Swinney has been very outspoken on his thoughts this week. Next Game Saturday 3:30PM vs Pittsburgh

3. Miami (7-1) – Miami was off for one of two consecutive weekends with Covid-19 concerns. Canes look to get healthy before the final 3 game stretch. Next Game 12/5 @ Wake Forest

4. North Carolina (6-2) – The Tar Heels will look to throw a monkey wrench in the Clemson/Notre Dame rematch-palooza. Next Game Friday 3:30PM vs Notre Dame

5. Wake Forest (4-3) – Wake Forest had their game vs Duke cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns. Next Game 12/5 vs Miami

6. North Carolina St (6-3) – The Wolfpack did something no one else has accomplished yet this year, and that is defeat Liberty 15-14. Zonovan Knight scored 2 TDs on the ground in the win. Next Game Saturday 12:00 PM @ Syracuse

7. Pittsburgh (5-4) – The Panthers annihilated VT 47-14. Kenny Pickett threw for 404 yards and 2 scores in the win. Next Game Saturday 3:30PM @ Clemson

8. Boston College (5-4) –Boston College enjoyed a bye week. Next Game 4:00 PM vs Louisville

9. Virginia (4-4) – Virginia got 383 yards and 4 TD throws from Brennan Armstrong as they beat ACU 55-15. Next Game Saturday 8:00PM @ FSU

10. Virginia Tech (4-5) –Justin Fuente, hot seat, hot seat, Justin Fuente. Hope you 2 are now acquainted. Next Game 12/5 vs Clemson

11. Louisville (3-6) – Malik Cunningham accounted for 219 yards through the air in a 30-0 blowout of Syracuse. Next Game Saturday 4:00PM @ Boston College

12. Duke (2-6) – Duke had their game cancelled vs Wake Forest. Next Game Saturday 7:00 PM @ Georgia Tech

13. Georgia Tech (2-5) -Tech has not played since Halloween. Next Game 7:00 PM vs Duke

14. FSU (2-6) – Was FSU in the right for pulling the plug 3 hours before game time? Mike Norvell has had an awful 1^st year in Tallahassee. Next Game Saturday 8:00PM vs Virginia

15. Syracuse (1-8) –Another weekend, another bad loss. This time 30-0 to Louisville. Next
